Peruse the following anecdote and glean a valuable lesson. 

Once upon a time, there was a hawk that the King of the kingdom would dispatch to procure prey for sustenance.

The King dispatched the hawk to hunt for prey one day, and it flew to a location where it spotted a hen with numerous chicks by her side. 

The hawk executed a series of maneuvers to facilitate the success of its mission. 

When a window of opportunity presented itself, the hawk swiftly descended and seized one of the chicks. 

The hen, upon hearing her baby's cry, rapidly turned around and endeavoured to retrieve her offspring, but her efforts ultimately proved futile.

Upon the hawk's arrival, he was accorded a warm welcome and congratulatory remarks, as he had not returned home empty-handed. 

"How was your journey, and what transpired with the hen after you took her baby?" the King inquired. 

"My journey was arduous, but I am thrilled to be here now, especially given the success of my endeavour. 

Regarding the hen, upon taking her baby, she shouted, cried, and exhausted all avenues, but ultimately, her efforts were in vain," the hawk replied. 

The King chuckled and remarked, "That was the extent of her capabilities." 

Subsequently, other activities commenced after the King concluded his thoughts on the hen.

Another day, the hawk was dispatched to procure prey, as was his custom. 

Upon arriving at a location conducive to catching prey, he encountered a duck accompanied by numerous ducklings. 

The hawk concealed himself and employed every conceivable tactic to ensure the capture of a duckling. 

Upon successfully obtaining a duckling, the hawk observed that the duck merely watched him, taking no action. 

The hawk then returned to his kingdom, where he was greeted in the customary manner. 

The King was astonished to see that the hawk had returned with a duckling on this occasion. 

The King inquired, "How was your journey, and how did the duck react?" 

The hawk responded, "Sir, when I seized the duckling, the duck remained silent, simply gazing at me."

“No! No! No! You must return the duckling to its original location,” the King shouted back. 

“Sir, what seems to be the issue?” the hawk inquired. 

“The duck that remained calm and composed, demonstrating foresight, was staring at you when you took a baby duck from among the other ducklings.” The King kept saying hurriedly. That was how the king kept urging the hawk to return the baby duck.
