Who, aside from the most fearless and inquisitive individuals,

would have agreed to follow him into such a forest, teeming with diverse wildlife?

Indeed, they had all journeyed to the forest together, but ultimately returned home without Digboluja,

who remained perplexed by the mysterious disappearance of the wild game.

He was utterly astonished to discover that the moose he had hunted had vanished from the location where he had dragged and secured it.

Consequently, Digboluja found himself alone in the forest,

while the courageous men departed for their respective residences,

their return journey to the village took several hours.

Nevertheless, it was later revealed that Digboluja's colleagues,

who had become his adversaries, were responsible for the disappearance of the hunted moose.

They had been surreptitiously following him,

intent on uncovering his hunting secrets and ultimately eliminating him.

Although they were unaware of the precise moment when he hunted the moose,

they had been stalking him through the forest.

When Digboluja suddenly disappeared, they lost track of him and were unable to continue their pursuit.

Instead, they wandered aimlessly through the forest until nightfall,

driven by their pursuit of a bushmeat that had eluded them throughout the day.

Eventually, exhausted and unable to hunt the bushmeat,

they decided to rest and resume their hunt throughout the night,

with the intention of returning home early the following morning with their quarry.

Rather than face irrational inquiries when they returned to the village empty-handed,

particularly from their spouses, they opted to hunt throughout the night.

This decision was primarily motivated by their desire to return with game,

and if unsuccessful, they would depart the forest early the following day.

As they hunted through the night, they caught nothing and prepared to leave early the next day.

While searching for a place to rest and sleep in order to leave the forest during daylight,

they stumbled upon a location near where the Digboluja and the hunted moose were,

but were unable to see or hear each other.
