It is reasonable to acknowledge that we arrive with nothing and depart with nothing. Everything you possess today is temporary. Therefore, avoid being stingy.
Avoid being parsimonious.
Don’t be stingy.
Once upon a time, an elderly gentleman resided in a village city.
This individual possessed several apple trees in his backyard.
However, whenever children from the village approached him to request some apple fruits,
the gentleman consistently declined and sent them away empty-handed.
This scenario repeated itself to the extent that the children scrutinized and understood the gentleman's demeanor.
Consequently, whenever they approached to collect apple fruits, they refrained from informing the gentleman beforehand and instead proceeded directly to his backyard where the apple trees were located.
Nevertheless, the gentleman remained vigilant, and his watchfulness was exceptional.
As a result, before the children could ascend the apple trees, the gentleman would notice and subsequently chase them away.
The gentleman suffered from an illness, but initially, it did not significantly impact his daily activities, including his ability to chase the children away.
After a while, the illness took its toll, rendering the gentleman incapacitated.
Eventually, he succumbed to his illness.
Upon learning of his passing, the children visited his residence and, as expected,
did not find him at his usual spot where they would often spy on him to seize opportunities to ascend the apple trees.
The children climbed the apple trees, consumed some apple fruits, and took additional ones back home.
They spent a considerable amount of time doing as they pleased that day.
”Old man! Old man! Come and chase us away as you always do," the children exclaimed,
but their voices were met with silence.
It is reasonable to acknowledge that we arrive with nothing and depart with nothing.
Everything we possess today is temporary.
Be prudent and share your resources.
Provide for those in need whenever you are capable of doing so.
When you encounter someone in need, you will instinctively recognize their situation,
and such individuals should not be required to request assistance before you provide it.
In conclusion,
refrain from being selfish and disregard those who deceive you into withholding charity,
for they will be among the first to disparage you after your departure.
Instead, adhere to your moral principles and reflect deeply. Do not be deceived.
