What goes around comes around.
This is me in my late fifties.
When I was in my early thirties,
I was an exceptionally successful individual,
excelling in every endeavour I undertook.
During that period, I was blessed with an abundance of prosperity, both spiritually and materially.
My success was so profound that I became a role model for many,
with numerous people aspiring for their children to emulate my achievements.
Some even prayed to attain at least half of my wealth.
However, I had a friend who, despite his best efforts, struggled to make ends meet and provide for his family.
He would often approach me with tears in his eyes, seeking assistance,
and I, being the successful and compassionate person I was,
would provide him with substantial help, sometimes even exceeding his expectations.
Our friendship was built on trust, and I had absolute confidence in him,
to the extent that I could entrust him with sensitive company documents and confidential information regarding my income sources.
As part of my business expansion plans, I decided to establish a new company in another country,
which required me to withdraw half of my savings at that time.
I entrusted this substantial amount to my friend, unaware that he had ulterior motives and planned to abscond with the funds.
After I handed over the money, he promptly began making arrangements to flee with it,
ultimately disappearing with his family.
Shortly thereafter, I received a call from an unknown individual,
claiming to have witnessed a fatal accident involving my friend and his family.
The caller informed me that they had recovered a briefcase containing a large sum of money and some personal belongings, including my friend's phone.
Unfortunately, that was the last I heard from the caller, as the line went dead, and I was unable to contact my friend again.
As I later discovered, my friend's plan to deceive me had ultimately led to his demise,
as he and his family perished in the accident.
Despite this setback, I persevered and continued to work diligently with strenuous effort eventually regaining my success.
Although it took time to recover, I learned a valuable lesson from the experience and have since become more cautious in my relationships.
I no longer trust others as implicitly as I once did.
In conclusion, I would like to emphasize the importance of cultivating a sense of appreciation for those who assist us in various ways.
Remember that kindness and generosity can have a profound impact, and what goes around indeed comes around.
FICTION!
Cultivate the habit of appreciation. Appreciate those assisting you in one way or the other. And remember that what goes around comes around.
